Jo dhyave phal pave, dukh binse man ka,
Sukh sampati ghar ave, kasht mite tan ka.Whoever keeps you in mind receives the reward, and the sorrow of their heart melts away; happiness and plenty come into their home, and the pain of their body ends.
Then the refrain: Om jai Jagdish hare…
- Verse 2
Mat pita tum mere, sharan gahun main kiski,
Tum bin aur na duja, aas karun main jiski. You are my mother and my father: whose shelter would I seek but yours? Without you there is no other in whom I could place my hope.
Then the refrain: Om jai Jagdish hare…
- Verse 3
Tum puran Paramatma, tum antaryami,

How to sing it
- When · At the end of any puja or katha, on Thursday evenings, on Ekadashi, and after the Satyanarayan Katha on the full moon.
- How · Light a ghee diya or camphor on a plate and wave it in slow clockwise circles before Vishnu’s image while everyone sings. Ring a bell if you have one.
- After · Pass the lamp around so each person can draw its warmth towards their eyes, then share the prasad, with a tulsi leaf on it.
