Bajrang Baan
The prayer to Lord Hanuman for protection, traditionally ascribed to Sant Goswami Tulsidas: an urgent call, swift as an arrow, for him to come at once and drive away every danger. In English letters, with the meaning of every verse.
Recite the opening doha, the 35 chaupais and the closing doha in one sitting, steadily and with faith. Chaupais 3 to 8 recall what Lord Hanuman did at Lanka; from chaupai 12, “Om hanu hanu hanu” calls on him to strike. Reciting from memory? Hide the meaning.
